The Iowa Drug Court Process Evaluation (10/1/2006-9/30/2007), funded by the Iowa Department of Human Right, Division of Criminal and Juvenile Justice Planning (CJJP) through the National Institute of Justice, involved the seven communities in Iowa that implemented family and juvenile drug courts at that time. The Consortium observed each court proceedings and assessed the process using Satel’s criteria. Additionally, the evaluator interviewed administrative staff regarding the drug court process.
